Qualifications
Qualifications are extremely important when applying for jobs. There are three basic ways of attaining qualifications:
- Have them recognised and mapped by Defence through the Civil Accreditation process
- Have them recognised through an external RPL/RCC process
- Physically attend a course
Funding is available through:
- The Defence Assisted Study Scheme (DASS) – Before you submit your discharge
- The Career Transition Assistance Scheme (CTAS) – After you submit your discharge
- You pay for them yourself
- If you qualify, funding through DVA
- If you qualify, funding through the RSL
