- I have just completed and submitted my application. I would like to thank you and especially Kristie for her help. I can’t say thank you enough for all the time and effort she put in to my application. She was always prompt with her replies and this made things easier for me. - Great news - had approval from the delegate and start the new APS position Monday 07 Feb 11; negotiated a mid pay-band start as well. Ross, your last phone-call going through the interview questions was invaluable on-top of all the CV/SC support. - Before receiving the training, I was quite terrified at the prospect of drafting applications, addressing selection criteria and being interviewed. I was sceptical that I could successfully get through the process as, after 23 years in the Army, the whole thing was alien to me. With the training, I was able to successfully address selection criteria and made it to interview. Then, when it came down to it, although I was nervous, I found the interview process far easier than I had imagined, thanks to your help. I am waiting to hear the outcome from the interview but feel confident that, thanks to you Ross, and the team at Trans-Civ, I will win the position I applied for. - Although I missed out on getting an interview at the Attorney General's Department, I was called by the head of the panel to compliment me on the quality of my application. I was advised that my application was better than most that made it to interview and that I missed the interview stage only due to my lack of specific experience.
