Carpenter

Seeking an ex-Defence Carpenter (chippy) to work in a full time capacity for a small design / construction / project management practice, specialising in mid to high end residential on the NSW Central Coast.

The role would suit those looking to expand on their skill base and build up to running their own jobs, and there is the opportunity to gain exposure in other areas of the company.

Requirements:

• Trade qualified (essential)
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage others and work as part of a team (you will supervise an apprentice)
• Foresight and the ability to plan and schedule
• Ability to think laterally and solve problems
• An eye for detail and quality work

Good-to-haves:

• Experience in residential construction
• Formwork experience (suspended slabs)
• Estimation experience
• Tools of the trade
• Drivers licence and own vehicle
