Anodyne Services Australia (ASA) provides a range of competitive medical services to challenging and sometimes dangerous work environments, with a strong focus on safety and quality of care. ASA’s services include; light mobile medical teams, health consultations, training, single health professionals, multi-disciplinary teams, health clinics and full field hospital facilities.
ASA is seeking applications from experienced and qualified Ambulance/ emergency vehicle drivers to be part of a medical crash crew service team on a major airbase in Afghanistan.
CONTRACT STARTS: 1 October 2016.
INTERVIEWS: In Late-August to early September 2016, dates and location to be advised
Position Requirements
- Provide Medical Crash Crew Services for airfield operations.
- Support paramedics in providing emergency medical care and trauma resuscitation
- Provide medical evacuation via ambulance from any point on the airbase to Medical Treatment Facilities
- Provide patient transfer services to / from airfield entrance gates to medical facilities as requested by the airbase authority
- Be competent in driving emergency response vehicle under all conditions and especially on flight line.
Applicant Requirements
- Ambulance driver, familiar with applicable radio and driving procedures for medical ambulances
- Current first aid certification or qualification
- Previous Afghanistan and/or military experience will be preferred
- Fluent in English as assessed by Anodyne Medical
