Military Cadets
All of our staff are highly professional and dedicated individuals who are committed to giving back to their community by helping the youth.
They are 100% volunteers, and unlike other similar organisations, our staff receive no pay for their hard work and commitment. They do it solely for the benefit of our cadets and the community.
All instructors and volunteers are required to hold a first aid qualification and a current government issued Blue Card for child protection.
Our Instructors include ex-Australian and New Zealand Army personnel who held ranks from Colonel down to Private, and who served in the SAS, Military Police, Aviation, Artillery, Engineers, Infantry, Armoured, Medical and Transport Corps. Almost all instructors served overseas during their full-time military service, on operations ranging from Vietnam right through to Afghanistan. A few are still serving members of the Army Reserve.
We have Volunteers who include a medical doctor, two nurses, a QAS paramedic, an occupational therapist, a customs officer, various tradesmen, a logistics specialist, successful business owners, and dedicated parents.
We have a very strong community-based approach and encourage maximum involvement by all. We consider our cadet unit to be a big family and support each other accordingly.
