I don't really follow my linked in account, but saw your name come up in my email and felt I owed you one. A month or two after I had landed the role, one of the bosses took me aside and told me that the CV you had done up was like nothing they had seen before and was definitely instrumental in gaining me the position. I then had to live up to all those generous words ha ha ... The role is very challenging, but I like that and am quite happy with where I am. Hope all is well on your end too. Just wanted to send a quick email to thank you all for your assistance in arranging my professional resume. It's more than I could have hoped for. I thought I had a good CV before but the quality of the CV that was written for me just shows that I didn't really know the best way to promote my skills. There were many skills I didn't realise I had or achievements I didn't realise I'd achieved until I received it all laid out in the CV from Kristie. It's one less pressure off my shoulders as it's quite stressful job seeking and trying to organise financial matters prior to leaving the military. Thanks again and all the best to you all. Jess B

- Awesome information about our CVs from the Oil and Gas Industry. Here is the direct feedback Dave P received from a recruiter in that industry regarding the CV we created for him. Dave asked for feedback either positive or negative regarding its targeting to the industry and also thoughts on Defence personnel transitioning to the Oil and Gas sector. The reply:
"The list of accolades and also the education and professional development on your cv will definitely put you in good stead. The cv is laid out perfectly, I wouldn’t change anything at this point, it is well tailored to the industry you want to break into. I personally believe ex-military personnel transition very well into offshore oil and gas, a lot of that is around familiarity of working in a remote environment and cultural challenges that come up with working in close quarters with predominantly men." - G'day TransCiv Team, I would like to thank you all for the great and professional service you provided to me. The Career Transition Management Training and CV package I received just blew my expectations away. It was a real eye opener for me of what to expect in the civilian world when applying for a job. Everything you provide is very professional, very informative and your whole team is absolutely friendly. After I applied for the CTMC and CV coaching I was skeptical when I received your email with the information I had to provide in regards to where I wanna go, what I've done so far etc. Having the separation from Defence in the back of my mind and everything else that comes with it, getting started with it didn't seem easy for me. Trust me when I say - it is never to early to start career coaching and getting a CV ready for when you need it. Especially when leaving the Defence Force. I wish I had applied for the packaged a lot earlier than I did! I bit myself through the paperwork, submitted it to you and got the ball rolling. I was very impressed when I received my CV draft from Kristie. WOW - was the first thing going through my head. Absolutely amazing job! - Ross, I would just like to take a few moments to say how impressed I was with the service Trans-Civ and you in particular; provided to me in my search for employment outside of Defence. Of particular note, the resume process and subsequent writing service were simply first class and the very favourable comments on both its style, content and presentation have been numerous. The feedback and comments I received during its construction were timely and proactive and nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Trans-Civ. (Phil ex-Army) Secured a $250k + job.

- Kristie, I finally got an interview after delivering 10 resumes. The first thing the interviewer mentioned to me was that the resume was quite small, but that she figured that made it an easy and quick read. Everything that was relevant was contained within the resume, and I got the job. Thankyou very very much :) Sharon
- Well it seems that the cover letter worked as I made it through to the next stage and had the phone interview last night with the Manager in Kabul, I asked him at the end of the conversation what or if he could tell me what his recommendation would be and he said he would be giving me the tick in the box. I should hear something today or tomorrow as to whether or not I will be getting a letter of offer and if I do they want me as soon as in 3-4 weeks. Ill keep you posted, however I just wanted to say thanks again and I appreciate all the time you have spent with me, Trans-Civ are a great organisation with great people, they offer a service that you just don't get anymore.

- Paul, I really liked the end product. I have no idea how Kristie managed so much from the info I wrote in the template. I loved the way she worded and reworded passages. I especially like the way she has put into words my consultancy work. I have always struggled how to promote this, without it being seen as me just swapping roles every so many months. The way Kristie worded this aspect was great. I especially liked how she didn't put in company names, but rather referred to their industry. Tamara

Your "key words", were something I have never given serious thought to. The last CV I had was below par to this and even what I expected.
