Like many partners, of Defence members, I have moved every couple of years and as a result found myself at the bottom of the professional pile with each move. After returning from an overseas posting and with the children finished school I realised it was now my time to move forward. Despite my very diverse and unusual background and my "maturity", you pulled everything together and made me realise what skills I truly possessed.   I found the whole process from Resume development, assistance with Selection Criteria and interview training to be absolutely professional and very enlightening. Without Trans-Civ I would not have picked up a position so quickly and certainly not at the pay level I achieved. I just wanted to let you know how my job interview went today.  Basically it was exactly as we had practiced it.  In fact it was so close that I was waiting for one of you to come through the door and say ‘surprise'!  From beginning to end the questions asked were almost identical to what we had gone through so naturally I used this to my advantage and sailed through the interview.  I haven't officially got the job but I left the interview feeling very confident and will find out the results next week. My wife just had a read of the final draft and she was really impressed with how you put this together, you obviously have a way with words as they say!  I am very impressed with the whole document now that it is completed, and I hope that I didn't put you out too much with the short time frame to have this submitted.
