Career Transition Assistance Scheme (CTAS) is offered by the Australian Department of Defence to entitled personnel who qualify based on the information in the table below. This scheme is designed to assist serving Defence personnel in their transition from Defence to a civilian career through funding for a professional CV/Resume, Career Transition Coaching and formal Courses.

1 To be eligible for approval absence, at termination member must have completed initial mustering/corps/category training.
2 Member may only access CTMC or CTT - Not both.
For those who are discharged due to medical reasons, you are entitled to the same elements as a person who has completed over 18 years, however you get both CTMC and CTT.
